Asymmetric basket
This small asymmetric basket is made from buff willow with a stripped willow handle. Its has a wide base narrowing at the top to give a lovely shape.
This style of basket is constructed using the ‘stake and strand method’ forming a round base, inserting side stakes and weaving to form the sides. It is then finished off with an asymmetric border.
Its an ideal size for picking berries, other foraging, harvesting tomatoes or other vegetables from your garden or even collecting eggs (real or chocolate).
This is also a great size for children.
It measures approx H18 x W24 x D24cm

Free local delivery is available for orders within the Lancaster area. Alternatively you are welcome to collect items from my Lancaster studio. I will contact you to arrange a convenient time and date for delivery/collection.
