Berry picking with dogwood & 'dickie meadows'
This small basket is made from willow and locally foraged dogwood which has a lovely vibrant red colour when first picked and fades to a rich deep red when fully dry. The dogwood is mixed with a variety of willow called 'dickie meadows' which has a blue/grey colour
This style of basket is constructed using the ‘stake and strand method’ forming a round base, inserting side stakes and weaving to form the sides and has a chunky 'rod' border on the top.
Ideal for picking berries, other foraging, harvesting tomatoes or other vegetables from your garden or even collecting eggs (real or chocolate).
Could be used to store kitchen utensils, pens etc.
This is also a great size for children.
It measures approx H23 x W18 x D18

Free local delivery is available for orders within the Lancaster area. Alternatively you are welcome to collect items from my Lancaster studio. I will contact you to arrange a convenient time and date for delivery/collection.
