Gondala basket
This gondala basket is made from buff willow. Buff willow has been through a boiling process during which the tannins in the bark dye it a tan colour and the bark is then removed.
This basket is constructed using a series of hoops that are set into shape and woven together adding in ribs for structure.
It has a wonderful sculptural form.
This basket would be great to take to the farmers market, for picnics, for foraging or harvesting your fruit and veg, to store knitting or a craft project or used as decorative storage in your home adding texture and warmth to your hallway, kitchen, bathroom or conservatory.
It measures approx H 36cm W 34cm D 20cm

Free local delivery is available for orders within the Lancaster area. Alternatively you are welcome to collect items from my Lancaster studio. I will contact you to arrange a convenient time and date for delivery/collection.
