Gypsy style foraging basket
This traditional rustic foraging basket is made in green willow with a stripe of 'buff' willow with a 'gods eye' binding detail on the handle.
This style of basket is constructed using two frames which form the handle and top rim woven together adding in ribs for strength and structure.
It can be used for foraging fruit or botanicals, family picnics, visiting the local market, used as a garden trug to carry tools, harvest fruit and veg or for cut flowers, or for practical storage around the home adding texture and warmth to your hallway, kitchen, bathroom or conservatory.
All products are handcrafted by myself from sustainably sourced willow from growers in Somerset.
It measures approx H30 x W31 x D27
