Round foraging basket with dogwood
This basket is made from bark on green willow and a locally foraged red dogwood which has mellowed to a lovely rich deep red/ burgundy colour.
This style of basket is constructed using the ‘stake and strand method’ forming a round base, inserting side stakes and weaving to form the sides. I have woven this basket with a slightly curved base giving a lovely rounded shape to it.
With a wrapped handle for comfort.
Ideal for foraging, harvesting tomatoes or other vegetables from your garden, picnics or for decorative storage.
It measures approx H29cm x W27 x D27cm
