Weave a basket in 3 evening sessions

About the workshop

Take time out for yourself, learn a new skill and enjoy the creative process. In this workshop you will learn the basic basketry skills to make fruit bowl with the option to add a handle if time allows. This workshop is suitable for beginners and all materials and tools will be provided. Split over 3 evening sessions of 2 hours: session 1 we will weave a round base session 2 we will 'stake up' the basket and start to weave the sides session 3 finishing the sides we will add a border and optional handle There will be facilities for making hot drinks throughout the day and I will provide tea/coffee The workshop will take place at my house where there is free on street parking. Please note: The willow varieties I have will vary depending on what is available at the time. Bookings will close 1 week prior to allow soaking time for the willow. I often soak a little extra so if you are interested after the bookings close please send me a message and I'll see if I can accommodate.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy Please ensure you have read the cancellation policy prior to making a booking. Payment is required in full to secure a place. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend the workshop. In the event of non attendance no refund will be issued. Cancel 28 days or more before the workshop a full refund will be issued minus any booking fees. Or you can swap to another workshop. Cancel 14-28 days - if I am able to allocate your place to another student then a full refund minus booking fees will be issued. If I am unable to fill the space a 50% refund minus any booking fees will be issued. Cancel less than 14 days prior - no refund will be issued. ​If for any reason I need to cancel the workshop a full refund will be given minus any booking fees.
