Willow weaving workshops

I run regular programme of creative willow weaving workshops in the Lancaster area.

​

My workshops offer people the space to take time out from their busy lives, to be in the moment and enjoy the creative process of learning a new craft in a sociable and supportive environment.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and as the course progresses there are moments where you can almost hear the concentration in the room as people are focused and in the present moment.

 

Workshops range from half day, full day or two day courses to make something bigger.

"The gypsy basket-making day with Amy was great: not only did we make the basket, but had a little extra time to make a hanging ornament. Amy was patient in her instruction and well-prepared with her materials. It was a comfortable group-size so that everyone got 1:1 time when they needed it. The whole day was like a mindfulness session, relaxed concentration and to come away with something I had made (and was really proud of) was such a lovely feeling.
